ERIN JACKSON

MARKETING AND EVENTS SPECIALIST

Erin graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s degree in resort and hospitality management. She has a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, including front desk operations, recreation and special events. She is currently completing the International Festivals & Events Association’s Certified Festival and Event Executive program. Erin joined GSMA from ArtFest Fort Myers, where she served as community engagement manager for over two years coordinating volunteers, artists and community programs for the festival. As GSMA’s Marketing and Event Specialist, Erin is involved with the planning, implementation and execution of a variety of events for the firm’s clients.

Describe yourself in one word. Bright! Studying hospitality helped me realize that I am a people person. I am the first to say hello and ask how you are doing. Colorful bright colors are also my esthetic. I always gravitate to bright colors because they are fun and whimsical.

Red or White Wine: Neither! Craft beer and cider are the way to my heart.

Cake or Pie: Cake over pie any day! You can’t go wrong with Funfetti cake and buttercream frosting.
