A native Floridian from Miami, Lisa graduated from Trinity International University with a bachelor’s degree in communication and organizational leadership. Before relocating to Estero in 2017, Lisa served as a public affairs specialist for the U.S. Air Force Reserve 482nd Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base and a public information officer for the Miami-Dade Police Department. Prior to joining GSMA, Lisa was a public information specialist with Cella Molnar & Associates, a public information consulting firm in Fort Myers. There, she provided public involvement and community outreach services to the Florida Department of Transportation for construction and infrastructure projects. Lisa has worked on significant campaigns over her nearly 20 years of communications experience in the private and public sectors, including FDOT’s first-ever Continuous Flow Intersection. In 2013, Lisa received the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Exceptional Service Award for outstanding service and was a finalist for the Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police 16th Annual Law Enforcement Officers Award in 2016. Heavily involved in veterans causes, Lisa has organized several large-scale events. She served on the committee for Operation Support Our Wounded Warriors and as director of media relations for the LS Warriors National Amputee Baseball Team. Lisa has also volunteered with various veteran organizations, providing public relations, marketing, fundraising and photography services.

Describe yourself in a word. Empathetic. I can easily put myself into other people’s shoes and understand where they are coming from.

Would you ever go sky diving? Yes! I have before, at 15,000 feet with the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team.
