An accomplished lobbyist and public affairs practitioner, Stephanie was the public information officer for the City of Fort Myers prior to joining GSMA. After an early career in state lobbying, she moved to the Washington, DC area to advance at the federal level, managing multi-state issue campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and national trade associations. Stephanie has two decades of experience engaging stakeholders on policy issues, creating executive-level strategic communication plans and developing corporate social responsibility initiatives. She is a trusted crisis communications advisor, skilled at diffusing competing public narratives. Stephanie leads strategic communications, government relations and public outreach campaigns for clients, conducting media relations, coalition-building and content creation. A member of the Florida Municipal Communicators Association, she has a master’s degree in business administration from William Woods University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri.

What’s one thing you can’t leave the house without? Fresh brewed iced tea. It is a southern staple, but when I lived in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, the quality was not to be trusted.

Cake or pie? Both. I would lean towards cake if my dad didn’t make such great homemade pies. Fruit, lemon meringue, chocolate … he’s good at all of them!
